The Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Conference is the annual conference of ADvancing States. This year, it takes place from Sunday, August 24 to Thursday, August 28, in Baltimore, MD.

The conference brings together state, federal, and local policymakers as well as leaders who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs. The purpose of the HCBS Conference is to share practices and policies that improve state systems providing long-term services and supports (LTSS) for all ages and abilities. The agenda will feature a wide range of sessions on the most important issues in the aging, disabilities, and LTSS fields.

A virtual conference will take place September 17-18, 2025.
