The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) is seeking suggestions for experts to be considered for membership in the Forum on Aging, Disability, and Independence. The forum brings together the federal sector, academia, industry, professional associations, and advocacy groups and provides a structured environment to define and discuss issues within the long-term services and supports system that affect an individual’s ability to live independently.
Approximately three to five volunteer experts are needed to serve on the forum of approximately 20 members. Expertise in the following areas is desired:
- Geriatrics
- Nursing
- Aging policy
- Disability Policy
- Workforce/Caregiving
