Nzinga “Zing” Shaw, a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) pioneer, will lead an upcoming LeadingAge webinar on what it means to be an ally and how allies can support the career advancement of leaders of color. The webinar is sponsored by the LeadingAge Leaders of Color Network. Robyn Stone, senior vice president of research at LeadingAge and co-director of the LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston, will serve as moderator.
During her presentation, Shaw will highlight the importance of allies in developing a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the aging services workplace and how allies can help their organizations build diverse leadership teams. Shaw will discuss:
