With support from The SCAN Foundation and the California Health Care Foundation, Community Catalyst recently finished a pilot study through which it partnered with community organizations in California to engage dually eligible people of color in a process of co-creating a set of quality measures for home and community-based services (HCBS) that capture what matters most to older adults of color receiving those services. The new findings can inform local, state, and national HCBS policy.

You are invited to join the conversation on Tuesday, January 30 at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT) that will share:

  • An overview of how we went about co-creation.
  • Preliminary findings on what aspects of service quality matters most to HCBS beneficiaries of color.
  • Key takeaways and lessons learned from the process.
  • Reflections from community partners and discussions of next steps

Speakers will include Eileen J. Tell, principal and CEO, ET Consulting LLC, and Caitlin Coyle, director, Center for Social & Demographic Research on Aging at UMass Boston. Both are fellows in the LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston.
