Join MIT CoLab on Friday, May 3, at 2 p.m. to learn about efforts to transform the long-term care system. MIT CoLab will provide a brief overview of its newly launched long-term care resource hub, which includes an overview of the care crisis, details on new programs that states are exploring to pay for long-term care, information about worker-owned cooperatives in long-term care, and an overview of the Mel King Community Fellowship cohort focused on these topics. The webinar will also include presentations by: Doug Moore, executive director of the United Domestic Workers of America; Ben Veghte, director, WA Cares Fund; Jaimie Worker, director of public policy, Caring Across Generations; and Aquilina Soriano-Versoza, executive director, Pilipino Workers Center of Southern California.
