Personal and Home Care Aide State Training (PHCAST) Program Evaluation

From 2010-2013, six states used grants from the federal Personal and Home Care Aide Training (PHCAST) Demonstration Program to develop and implement statewide programs to train personal and home care assistants in 10 core competencies. LeadingAge researchers worked with Walter R. McDonald and Associates, Inc., to design and implement a national program evaluation. The Health Resources and Services Administration funded the study.
